ABSTRACT Local television come along with regional autonomy, and grow alot in almost every region in Indonesia. The main function is as a alternate mode show for local people to not only just watch the show from Jakarta stasions. However, local television is still not able to attract the attention of local people, Local television also still can’t compete with private television which broadcasting nationally, so some of the existing local television get bankrupt while a few surviving chose to work with other local television or also join in a national network. One of them is iNews TV Semarang who also join with iNews TV network. Researchers were interested to see how the cooperation pattern in local television iNews TV Semarang. The purpose is to determine the pattern of such cooperation are executed by iNews TV and iNews TV Semarang. iNewsTV Semarang chosen because earlier this television station named as Pro TV Semarang, so that it can be compared before and after networked with iNews TV. Besides also see why the TV station changed its name to iNews TV Semarang. Therefore, the research method used was a case study because the object of this study is unique in Indonesia, networked local television. Practically, the cooperation that carried out in iNewsTV Semarang is a Owned and Operated pattern. In this cooperation pattern, member network stations owned by the parent network, in this case, is iNews TV Semarang is owned by iNews TV. However, the actual concept of cooperation in this case is irrelevant because the local television station that has been lost and renamed and the ownership is taken over.
