Abstract Budget gender perspective is one of budgetary assessment instruments in order to improve equality between male and female. This study will assess on a budget Dinlopas Yogyakarta whether gender perspective of equaty for women as traders in traditional markets. Inequaty felt by women began limited job sector that is conducive to women. Then came the traditional market as an opportunity for women to earn income that is conducive to the nature of women, but the development of activities in traditional markets weakened. This resulted in threats to women not to return to have the opportunity to earn income. This study concluded that the injustice faced by women in traditional markets can be minimized with the implementation of the budget with gender perspective. This study primarily of assessing a budget using a gender perspective on the budget Dinlopas city of Yogyakarta in accordance with Regulation 15, 2008. Rate budget gender perspective carried out using two approaches, Gender Responsive Budget Analysis and Evaluation of Gender Responsive Program. The results of this study stated that by category ARG Dinlopas budget has a gender-responsive programs, but on a thorough implementation process has not run in the traditional markets, so that the benefits and impact of gender responsive programs can not be perceived by traders in traditional markets. Until now, the traditional markets is still a work sector that is dominated by women, but the sector has not been able to bring well-being for women.
