ABSTRACT The development of communication technology and new media nowadays inflicts the emergence of online counseling service through facebook by PILAR PKBI Central Java. The system of interpersonal communication in that counseling service has changed as well. Virtual communication then appeared. It is a delivery and acceptance process by client and counselor through cyberspace, which is interactive, either directly (synchronous) or indirectly (asynchronous). The purposed of this research is to know how the dynamics of mediated communication practice on the counseling through facebook by PILAR PKBI in 2014. Using the descriptive study as the method, this research is expected as the reference to enrich the reader’s point of view about mediated communication practice. Based from this research is found a few facts that through counseling online: client becomes more extrovert to counselor, because they do not need to reveal their true identity. There are differences about the use of language by counselor to client in severe case and mild case. The expression of emotion can not be understood perfectly. There is also an obstacle which caused by the late of feedback and the lack of understanding of the message that been delivered.
