Pergumulan Identitas Tari Aceh: Komoditas dan Orisinalitas Budaya di Komunitas Rampoe UGM

ABSTRACT Tari Aceh increasingly widespread and legendary in the national and international arena. Its existence makes Rampoe UGM community located in the Faculty of Humanities follow to get fresh air. Communities born out of the Department of Arabic Literature is often received an invitation to perform at the event - the campus and weddings. Openness in recruiting community members cross religious, ethnic, racial, and university make this community is getting flooded with bids appearance. Community Rampoe UGM often record while promoting every appearance on social media sites. Agenda of the many activities such as diplomacy abroad, dance competition, appreciation of the dancers, Rampoe Teaching makes this community requires a lot of funds. Various methods are used to meet the needs of the bargain - bargain prices and drafted dance according to demand and price agreements. By using qualitative methods of case studies, this paper discusses the study of identity struggles Tari Aceh in commodities and cultural authenticity in the community of Rampoe UGM. The results of in-depth interviews and observations on a regular basis during the month of December 2015 until April 2016 with the members, coaches, founder and board Rampoe UGM, replied that occurred commodification in this community that could potentially lead to the distortion of culture.
