2016 | Skripsi | Ilmu KomunikasiAbstract The Internet, with all the innovation brought the media evolved by offering a lot of new things, such as media convergence and online journalism. Online media provides a new experience in terms of information consumption, including football-related information. Pandit Football, was coming as football media that offers a form of writing that could be said to be rarely found in Indonesia football media industry, which is analysis-based content and storytelling content. Taking form as the online media, Pandit Football choose to produce a longer written and insightful article by relying on precision journalism to support its analysis. This resulted in a long work time and requires extra hard effort to implementing various phases in the precision journalism. Newsroom should be arranged in such a way to accommodate this. For example: the selection of qualified human resources as a member of the newsroom or setting work schedules for senior author and junior author should be balanced so that the work can be completed on target. Newsroom then also establish a workflow that is actually more like print media workflow than online media workflow in general. It is characterized by the presence of the editor in charge of editing the article before it is published and doing the gate keeping process in the same time. There are also stages of research and development that are dedicated specifically to perform precision journalism work. Pandit Football also developed a strategy to overcome the delay in uploading news, which is by predicting/intercept issues and maximize efforts in making interesting and insightful article that allows to attract the reader's attention even though he comes late than news from other media.
