ABSTRACT Adalet ve KalkInma Partisi or AK Party is the only political islamic-based party that ables to dominate the political scene of the Republic of Turkey from its founding (2001) until now (2016). This phenomenon has no precedent in Republic of Turkey. To analyse this phenomenon, this study utilise Supply and Demand Theory that has been developed by political scientists as its core theoritical framework. The Supply and Demand Theory views political party as a seller and potential voters as a potential buyers that interacts in a market, hence, when a certain political party ables to accomodate the demand(s) of a potential buyers they will gain power. This study finds that the ability to interpret voter’s demands and transform it into proper strategy are the key success factor of AK Party Keywords: Political Islam, Political Party, Supply and Demand Theory
