ABSTRACT “THE SHIFTING FUNCTION OF HOMESCHOOLING (SEKOLAH RUMAH) TO THE BUSINESS” (Study Of Primagama Homeschooling in Yogyakarta) At its beginning, Primagama was just a ordinary tuoring agency that has private study system. But, nowadays with the high opportunity in the public made Primagama expanded its bussines by adopting “homeschooling (sekolah rumah)” concept. These research explains about how the homeschooling switching its function to the bussines thing, because of the development of Primagama homeschooling itself that already came out from original concept of “home schooling (sekolah rumah)”. As for this research is also discuss about learning models that has been developed by Primagama homeschooling. This research is qualitative research. Collecting data method used in this research is observation, subjects interview and documentation. The main informants for this research are six high school students representation from Primagama homeschooling. Supporting informans for this research are two tutors of Primagama homeschooling. The result of this research shows that Primagama homeschooling has been a elite school product. This is caused by the origin of “home schooling (sekolah rumah)” is kind of school that can minimalizes the cost. But, what have been happening is much more cost to spent for the admission of Primagama homeschooling. By the high bussines oppurtunity to provide more exclusive school that made Primagama homeschooling more confident, and in the end switching the function of homeschooling from home schooling to bussines opportunity. The switching function of homeschooling is strengthened by some learning models that different from their original concepts, which makes Primagama homeschooling has privat learning model and community.
