2015 | Skripsi | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalABSTRACT Global climate change issues become a trend in Australia, especially when it was under the Labor Party government, began in the 2007. Australia under the Labor Party considers that the massive national industry activity offset by the large amount of emission carbon that produced as a contributor in air pollution, and caused the climate change global. Hence, Labor Party government start to release a series of public policy related the environment to reduce carbon emissions gas. The most prominent policy is carbon tax in the time of Prime Minister Julia Gillard (2010), because the policy evokes polemic and regarded controversial that opposed by the Liberal Party and also industry group of Australia. Moreover, carbon tax created from the consolidated between Gillard with Minority Government in elections 2010, so it is considered as a public policy that contains political interests just for a few people. The debate between three majors actor in the decision making process to the implementation of Australian carbon tax is inevitable.
