ABSTRACT This undergraduate thesis explains the production of identity by Indonesia in BDF. This thesis focus on two matters. First, explanation about identities that Indonesia produced in BDF. Second, explanation about production of those identities during BDF. This thesis uses three conceptual framework, which are identities, representation, and mimicry. This thesis had found that Indonesia produce three identities, which are West, Its old glorious day, and Islam in BDF. Those identities produced within representation practice that Indonesia did during BDF. Those three identities are produced by Indonesia in order to mimic the West.
