2016 | Skripsi | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalABSTRACT This undergraduate thesis will discuss about the factors that make India have not been fully comply to Palermo Protocol. India ratified the Palermo Protocol since 2011. As the country with the highest number of cases of human trafficking which is continue to increase from year to year, India has not shown significant efforts to comply. In fact, India has showed the efforts to comply with the protocol, but it is considered not significant because the amount of human trafficking in that country continued to increase from 2008 to 2013. The US Department of the State of Diplomacy categorized India's effort to comply into tier 3. This thesis aims to explain the causes that make India have not been fully able to comply with the Palermo Protocol. In this thesis, the author use qualitative method, with the Theory of Compliance by Chayes.
