ABSTRACT Researches existences developed to explore problem of Ledhok Timoho have been long causing the gap between researcher interest and society necessity. It effects to the trend that there is metodologyst fault applied by researcer so that scientific learning can not solve the problem. Research existed only fulfill academic interest in college. Whereas, according to Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, academics activity should not only cover research and education, but also cover community empowerment. It means, scientific activity should be able to finish problems within society. I argue that there should be transformation in social sciences and learnings. This research will answer the question on why researches ever done have not been able to contribute on problem solving toward Ledhok Timoho society. Based on research, I get result that Ledhok Timoho research until now has bias characteristic due to uncorrect methodology. This research is literature study toward six papers about Ledhok Timoho, where I then search the gap from those papers between research result and society interest. I then try to recomend Participatory Action Research (PAR) method as one of alternative of methodological problem solving in sosial research. Moreover, PAR wants conclusion of research is coming from it own society. Howefer, only Ledhok Timoho society itself that may give solution recomendation also finish their own problem, not foreigner.
