Farm life has become a habit and the distinctive characteristics for the community. But all that changed when fishermen come in and make Cilacap Depok beach as a landing place for fishing. This encourages the emergence of opportunities and ideas of society to develop culinary tourism sector. The emergence of the idea started from a few individual public open food stalls to provide for the needs of fishermen. With the passage of time many tourists are getting interested to visit to buy the catch of fishermen. It encourages community stretching Depok Beach to try to open a business selling services for visitors who come. The majority of people who formerly worked as a farmer, now has changed and is engaged in culinary tourism sector. From early 2000 until now the development of culinary tourism sector is growing rapidly. The development is conducted independently by the community. The method used in this study using a phenomenological qualitative approach. Fenomenoogi approach felt able to see how the subjective view of the experience felt by the participants in their everyday lives. So as to obtain the results of what actually exists in this phenomenon. While this study uses the theory of social change of thinking Piotr Sztompka more inclined to view the process from the existence of a social change in a society. Occupational changes that occur will affect the dynamics of the system and public life Depok Beach. People who formerly farmed fish processors are now open stalls, people who daily went to the fields now move on to the beach, the people who used to talk about how to cope with pests are now discussing how to prepare a delicious meal. Changes is that now experienced by the community. However, during this time of economic change and prosperity becomes always discussed. In this case also will affect the social change experienced by the community itself Depok Beach. The change would affect the livelihood of the system, structure, and dynamics that existed before the change. So interesting to explore a deeper look at how the actual effect of the change occurred, how it proceeds and changing society, and how society can adapt to existing circumstances.
