Digital technology has given a lot of changes ranging from production stage to consumption stage. Currently, recording music not only in physical form such as tapes and compact discs, but also in a digital format such as Mp3. The presence of digital music followed by the emergence ofillegal music download on sites such peer-to-peer file sharing. It has an impact on the music industry experienced which a decline in revenueevery year particularly in small and independent companies. This study was tried to describe the media management application on the company's record in responding to external environmental changes caused by technology. In the management of a record company, the organization's resources is a major aspect that needs full ofattention before performing four functions of management (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling). To further understanding of current situation both external and internal aspects in organization, it need to update on planning. It also need strategic planning to redesign a new plan to face with current issues in order to impelemented both presentor future. That would implemented both for present or future .Planning should be developed and improved upon the circumstances in the company can be volatile and unpredictable.
