ABSTRACT Along with the development of the days of the technological advances that are increasingly cheap and easy to obtain internet access is growing make audiences can easily to consume the information. Suara Surabaya is the company that based on the radio, SSFM, from 1983 finally spreads to the media online (suarasurabaya.net) in 2000 so that can be enjoyed by audiences using a variety of platforms. At the beginning of the formation of suarasurabaya.net website contains only streaming radio, radio on demand and content from the radio due to the function of the website to make it easier to reach the radio broadcast reaches only. But, in 2013 start formed the division of the new media in order to manage the website suarasurabaya.net so that the content of the website content can vary and developed into a portal web. Since that time, web suarasurabaya.net has a wide variety of content that can compete with other online media, especially from the media online based on the radio. Of course this could not be separated from the management that has been done by the division of the new media Suara Surabaya. This research began even want to analyze the ways of Suara Surabaya, especially the division of the new media do online media management based on the four elements in the concept of the management: planning, organizing, guidance and coordination and control and evaluation. The results of this research showed that the development of online media suarasurabaya.net normally and effective. Key words: internet, media convergence, online media management, radio online
