At the present time, drugs consumers are connected to the abuse due to the bad impacts that come out of it. In Indonesia, every year drug abusers gets increasing especially for those in productive age groups. It can cause apprehension for the future of Indonesian’s young generation. Indonesian’s government then clearly instruct about the rehabilitation obligation for all drugs addicts through rehabilitation residence, either from those which are facilitated by the nation or those which have been requested, one of which is Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra Yogyakarta that is under Social Department. In this research, the researcher would like to explain about the rehabilitation process conducted in Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra Yogyakarta until a residents is able to go back to society and undergo his function based on certain norms in that society. The selection of method in every research determines every research result which wanted to be achieved. On this research, the researcher applied qualitative method that would be able to describe in detail about rehabilitation process as well as the detailed steps regarding the rehabilitation conducted at Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra Yogyakarta. Besides the steps in rehabilitation, by using the qualitative method, this research also explained descriptively about the role undergone by Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra Yogyakarta to restore the resident’s social function in society. At the end of the research, the researcher discovered that the rehabilitation process conducted by Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra Yogyakarta is done using Therapeutic Community (TC) whose main purpose is to restore the healthy life style of humans who do not consume the drugs. Basically, an addict has lost the healthy life style when they consume drugs. By doing Therapeutic Community, this resident is directed into the habits of undergoing normal life either as individual or in society. Some residents who have recovered and have been back to their normal activity in society is now able to undergo more meaningful life, such as going back to work, going back to school, and even making their own business. However, there are some corrections for Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra Yogyakarta related to the residents’ data arrangement which is not really being paid attention in the filling, so it is hard to differentiate between the new and old residents.
