Peran Duta Wisata dalam Strategi Pemasaran Pariwisata di Kabupaten Sleman

Ilmu Administrasi Negara)ABSTRACT Dimas Diajeng Sleman is the designation for a tourism ambassador in Sleman as a medium of tourism marketing that is expected to be an actor who is able to promote the tourism potentials in Sleman and be a liaison between the Department of Tourism Culture Sleman, the private sector and the public that in fact is prospective tourists in Sleman for the collaborators to market tourism potential in Sleman. So Dimas Diajeng Sleman seen as social resources in terms of tourism marketing. To achieve these objectives one factor supporting social capital formation is influenced by social networks, trust, and reciprocity. This study focuses on the contribution of tourism ambassador Dimas Diajeng Sleman as social capital in tourism marketing strategy in Sleman. The method used is qualitative. Data were collected through observation, interviews with relevant parties, and adds support secondary data. Results from this study were analyzed for then drawn conclusions on research. Evidence on the ground shows role as a tourism ambassador of social capital is reflected in the establishment of the organization (Association Dimas Diajeng Sleman), delegation of authority, the participation of members, and the cooperation with external organizations. Furthermore, the role of tourism ambassadors as social capital contributes to the tourism marketing strategy in which networks play a role in shaping and strengthening the internal network (Association Dimas Diajeng Sleman) as a container accommodating creative ideas related to tourism planning event, trust and reciprocal relationships that have a circular relation roles a partnership involving all parties in the tourism marketing activities and to encourage the emergence of tourism marketing activities as different as Disbudpar Sleman target.
