2016 | Skripsi | Ilmu KomunikasiABSTRACT A crisis can not be predicted the arrival time. Crises can happen anywhere, anytime, and to anyone. A crisis occurs without bringing an instant solution. Need a readiness and a strategy which planned before the crisis occurs. Public relations have very important role in handling the crisis. RSUP Dr. Sardjito has the complexity of the problem and then open the chances of a crisis. The public relations of RSUP Dr. Sardjito need to perform a variety of activities and planning in order to make preparations to face the crisis. This study is expected to identify and explain the readiness of the public relations department of RSUP Dr. Sardjito in the face of crisis. This study uses the case study method, to collect data based on in-depth interviews, observation, and literature. The results showed that the public relations department of Dr. Sardjito prepared to face the crisis. The public relations of RSUP Dr. Sardjito monitoring the hospital’s environmental conditions (internal and external), have a SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), have a crisis management team, and develop crisis communication strategies to prevent the emergence of crisis.
