ABSTRACT BKKBN as organization that working on controlling population in Indonesia has many contraseption programs to controlling the number of birth rate. Vasectomy, known as MOP (Metode Operasi Pria), is one of them. Kulon Progo had low birth rate below the ideal that was caused by the contribution of the number of the new vasectomy acceptors increased around three times every years, from 2011 to 2013. Those increased-number of the new vasectomy acceptors was caused by KIE program. KIE program was program to deliver the information about KB and its environment to the target, to get the new acceptors. Therefore, this study was conducted to knowing the implementation of KIE Program that was did by Kulon Progo, and its independent factors. The data were collected through interviews method with support of secondary data. The results of this study showing that the implementation of program KIE that was did by Kulon Progo was good enough.
