Strategi Pemenangan Partai Politik :(Studi tentang Strategi Pemenangan DPD Partai Gerindra DIY pada Pemilu 2014 di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta)

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to analyzed the winning strategy used by Regional Representative Council or Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) Gerindra Party DIY and to identify factors that affect the votes in seven of its constituency in DIY. This research was made with descriptive qualitative method. Primary data was used in this research by profound interview, and secondary data was used with documentation. All collected datas were analyzed with qualitative method. The result of this research shows that the winning strategy by Regional Representative Council (DPD) Gerindra Party DIY was well implemented, thus Gerindra DIY gain a satisfying result and the result was appropriate with target set by BAPPDA Gerindra DIY. For a National Representative Council or Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) RI, Gerindra succeed to send one of its candidate. This result was a tremendous achievement reckoning that the previous election Gerindra fails to send its candidate for DPR RI from the same constituency. Meanwhile in Regional People’s Reprentative Council or Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Yogyakarta, Gerindra succeed to send each constituency one candidate, with a total of seven candidate. This result was also a satisfying one because in the previous election Gerindra could only sent two of its cadet, therefore Gerindra could not build one full fraction. Subsequently Gerindra joined the PNPI Raya fraction along with three other political parties. Among main political strategies DPD DIY Gerindra Party implements to win the DIY legislative election 2014 was the strategy to cultivate the issue and image branding through mass and visual media, the strategy to develop party infrastructure through “mass-caring”, and funding strategy.
