Abstract Last earthquake hit Bantul Regency in 2006 left many interesting social phenomenon. The victim got attention from public for their quick recovery. In two years time, they already live the normal life, similar before the earthquake but better. Thanks to the government, private sector and NGOs for their fast recovery. From the top command to government at the regency and government to private sectors and NGOs worked in a well-adjust system. The citizen gave a positive respond to the programs that government and NGOs has to offer. This researched mainly underlining how the programs from government and non-government help the recovery process in Wukirsari Village.
