ABSTRACT This study analyzes the process and how to Implementation Local Regulation DIY No.6 of 2011 on the Protection of Children Living on the street in the city of Yogyakarta as well as factors that affect the success of the implementation. The concept used in this study is the concept of implementation, to determine why the importance of implementation, factors affecting successful implementation, implementation of the supporting factors, and factors inhibiting the implementation. In addition to the concept of implementation also uses the concept of Child Protection Policy which includes the models regarding prevention policies street children. This study uses qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews , and data collection based live - in. Data obtained from various sources are cross-checked with other source and the existing secondary data (records of meeting, and related regulations). Governor Regulation DIY No. 31 In 2012 on Procedures Outreach, Governor Regulation DIY No. 54 In 2013 on Child Protection SOP Living on the Street, Handling Procedures street children in the city of Yogyakarta, Book Reveals Life & Strategy Worst Child, Summary data of POM in the city of Yogyakarta in 2010-2011, Activity Matrix PSM, and the data of street children who come from the city of Yogyakarta and outside the city of Yogyakarta on the PSM. The data obtained were then analyzed and compared to check the truth. The conclusion from this study is the Implementation of Local Regulation No.6 of 2011 on the Protection of Children Living on the Street in city of Yogyakarta have not managed to eradicate child of street life. Changing the mindset and behavior patterns are not easy and of course to require a long time to see the changes.
