Rukun dan Hormat : Studi Anak Nongkrong di Cafe di Yogyakarta

Ilmu Pemerintahan)ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to explore the application of Javanesse ethics conceptions in the society daily basis talks in public sphere. The locus of the study was modern and traditional cafes in Yogyakarta which considered as The Third Place. The study focus on the Harmony and Honorary values as one of the Javanese ethics application at the people daily basis conversation. The subject of this study was a number groups of cafe‟s customer, which known as anak nongkrong. Participative observation and interview were used to collect the qualitative data. The study found that Harmony and Honorary values are existed in the group talks, in which could generate a postive democratic deliberative atmosphere. The study also found that traditional cafe tends to be more inclusive than the modern one, in terms of the instant customer groups forming. Further result will be discussed.
