Ilmu Pemerintahan)Summary This study discusses the voting behavior in local democracy case study Sri Surya Widati victory in the General Election Bantul 2010. The purpose of the study is to find out who the supporters of Sri Surya Widati in Election Bantul. Besides the purpose of this study to determine the factors - factors that affect voters choose a partner of Sri Surya Widati and Sumarno in Bantul Election 2010. The focus of the study was conducted in two subdistrict in the District of Sewon Bantul and Kasihan. The method used is qualitative descriptive research with case study model. Data obtained from observation, in-depth interviews and direct observation in the field. With many voters no impact on voting behavior of people affected by various factors. In the theory of voting behavior there are various factors that influence the voters to vote in the General Election as, Psychological factors, sociological factors, factors Rational Voter. Based on this approach we can conclude that psychological factors in using her voice dominates voters at the polling station. Besides, sociological factors can not be separated because of customs and culture of the Javanese society still upholds the norms and values that exist in the community, although not dominant in influencing voters. In addition, factors also influence the choice of rational voters against candidates, although very small. The advice or recommendation of this research is necessary to further research. This is because the voting behavior in Election predominantly psychological factors can affect the sustainability of the democratic process at the local level.
