Event is a communication media in conveying information and messages from a brand or a company to interact directly with consumers and the company's internal public. The phenomenon has considerably evolved towards more specific. Special event was born as evidence of the development of media publicity event that is effective because it can help market the company's products and services to the public, it is the promotion, as well as being able to get publicity from the media. In implementation, special event is not separated from the role or function of communication management. Communication management in the organization of special events as a function of managing the communication process contained in the organization of special events. Overall, this study describes how the communication management as a process of managing communication resources in presenting a special organization of events that can achieve a goal. Taking the viewpoint of event organizers as an object of research, communication management process is illustrated through the stages of the management of communication processes in the organization of a special event. The results showed that in an organization of special events, communication management plays an important role in processing a communication process that aims to create special carpet event in accordance with its intended purpose.
