Strategi Tiongkok Menuju Sustainable Development: Studi Kasus Industrialisasi Panel Surya Tiongkok

Environmental issue, especially in pollution problem is one main problem that had been haunting China for years and pressured by international world demanding to be seriously dealt with. With the innovation of technology which is getting better today, China is trying to use solar panel commodities to clear up the environmental issues, and to gain positive effect in energy consumption in the future as well. Went from the target said in Rio+20, that China will peak its carbon emission and reach 30% of renewable energy as national energy by the time of 2030 to reach become one leading nation that promote sustainable development. China begin formulating solar panel policies to meet that national interest, by conducting industrial policy in order to enhance the production of local solar panel which in the end, those panels are installed in various China regions. China become a nation with highest solar panel activity in the world since 2010, with massive production and intensive installation. To fasten the process of technology diffusion of solar panel so the consumer will accept it and acknowledged it, so those panels could be functioning quickly, China also implemented a series of incentive policies, like subsidy and feed-in tariff. From those industrial policy and incentive policy taken, government require an economic growth to close the fund loss for the application of previous policies. From here on, China selling its solar panel commodities to the global market as well, which is later on, government of China will be giving aids using strategic trade policy to help solving future trade disputes.
