Upaya Peacebuilding Oleh European Partnership For The Peace Settlement Of The Conflict Over Nagorno-Karabakh (Epnk) Dalam Konflik Nagorno-Karabakh

Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict is one of prominent protracted conflict in South Caucasus region that becomes a specific concern of European Union. For European Union, the existence of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is perceived as a hindrance to achieve regional security stability goals. Moreover, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has geopolitics feature that will bring the conflict into more difficult settlement process. Therefore, because of those certain reasons, in 2010, European Union created peacebuilding missions under the framework of European Partnership for the Peace Settlement of the Conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh (EPNK) which engaged five professional NGOs originated from European countries. By analyzing with process and mechanism approach by McAdam, Tilly, and Tarrow, there will be an explanation on why undertaking peacebuilding efforts by NGO for Nagorno- Karabakh conflict is beyond such a trend in European Union’s conflict settlement process. And also there will be an explanation on how EPNK brings about transformation towards Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
