China’s economic development since 1978 has affectedmany aspects of social life of the Chinese people, including the tendency to view sexuality more openly. This is known as China’s Sexual Revolution. With social changes that happening in the society, supported by advanced technology, the revolution affects government policies, for example regarding Internet, One-Child Policy, and entertainment business. Within this context, harmony is the standard norm applied by government in making and implementing policies in order to create a society with minimum conflict. This research will explore policies regarding the sexual revolution and its effect in the contemporary Chinese society. Keywords: China, sexual revolution, harmony.
