ABSTRACT ASEAN is one of the regional institution cooperation that will face its new phase on 2015 which is ASEAN Community 2015. Elite policies has already made to improve the quality of this institution, however one of the condition that has to be created to develop this region is sense of community that has 5 important dimensions trust, solidarity, tolerance, sympathy, and sense of belonging which cultivated in their citizen as the target of the policies implementation. This paper will show the cooperation that involved the citizen of ASEAN, particularly youth as the future of ASEAN itself case study student exchange program ASEAN Millennium Leader College Students Exchange Program. This program is the place of socialization (formal and informal program) of ASEAN vision and mission to youth. They could dig the differences and similarities of ASEAN member countries in order to understand them. To see the formation of sense of community the writer interview 27 program awardees batch 2011-2012 and link the answer with the dimension of sense of community.
