Tingkat Literasi Media di Kalangan Pelajar terhadap Tayangan Variety Show di Televisi Indonesia:(Survei pada Siswa SMAN 1 Bawang dan SMAN 1 Purwanegara Banjarnegara)

2015 | Skripsi | Ilmu KomunikasiABSTRACT This research " Media Literacy Levels Amongst Students Against Variety shows In Televisi Indonesia ( Survey of Students of SMAN 1Bawang and SMAN 1 Purwanegara Banjarnegara ) " . The purpose of this study was to measure and compare the level of media literacy among students on variety shows on television Indonesia . Respondents in this research are 130 students, 65 students of SMAN 1 Bawang and 65 students of SMAN 1 Purwanegara . Survey respondents are students of class XI science and social studies department . Research using survey method with quantitative approach . The technique of collecting data using questionnaires distributed to respondents . Processing and data analysis using SPSS , with descriptive statistics. These results indicate that the majority of respondents classified as heavy viewer or television see more than 4 hours each day. A total of 33 (50.8%) SMAN 1 Bawang and as many as 42 (64.6%) SMAN 1 Purwanegara, the rest watching television less than 4 hours per day. There are 41 (63.1%) of respondents SMAN 1 Bawang and 52 (80.0%) of respondents SMAN 1 vartiety Purwanegara not watch the show regularly. While watching a variety show regularly there were 24 (36.9%) of respondents SMAN 1 Bawang and 13 (20.0%) of respondents SMAN 1 vaiery Purwanegara watch the show regularly. A total of 47 (72.3%) of respondents SMAN 1 Bawang and 48 (73.8%) of respondents answered that SMAN 1 Purwanegara variety show that aired on Indonesian television is not all interesting and worth watching. While 18 (27.7%) of respondents SMAN 1 Bawang and 17 (26.2%) of respondents SMAN 1 Purwanegara argued instead that, variety show that aired on Indonesian television are all interesting and worth watching. Respondents from both the high school level of literacy was the value of 8-14. SMAN 1 Bawang literacy rate with an average of 13.6 and SMAN 1 Purwanegara with an average of 13.7 based Levels scale Ability Literacy Media Adaptation and Modification of the European commission (2009), in the category of medium or medium level. Students are already well versed in the use of television media, know the functions and able to perform certain functions, browse more complex operations in the use of television. The use of television as needed. Users can find out how to select and assess information from a television program that he needs, and is able to use a search strategy specific information.
