Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran dan Program-program Pembelajaran Khusus di Sekolah Inklusi SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta

ABSTRACT Education is a “basic need” for every people in this worldwide, besides, Indonesia currently seeks for this basic need. Education can be experienced through formal education and non-formal education. Non-formal education can be experienced through out of school or institution, while formal education can be experienced through the school or institution. Many schools try to offers learning methods and make a lot of school programming from their school in roder to encourage students for being active. From many schools foundation or public schools who they try to offer their learning methods and special learning programs to your kids is SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta. SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta is a new foundation school, which was established on 2011 by Yayasan Edukasi Anak Nusantara (YEYAN) and its management practice aligns with Sekolah Tumbuh Yogyakarta. In this research, a researcher focuses on learning methods and learning programs in SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta and also the implementation of learning methods and learning programs in SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta. The researcher also observes the interaction between teachers and students, and the opinion from student’s parents. The researcher employs qualitative research method with descriptive approach. The research’s location is in different places, those are: SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta, Ratu Boko Temple which had been held a leadership program, and also in SD Tumbuh 1 Yogyakarta’s library when interviewing with one of student’s parent. This research employs primary data collected from the observation, interview, and library study. This thesis can be concluded that SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta is an inclusion school. Inclusion school is an educational institution who is able to give education for all people with various backgrounds. Different backgrounds from economic, cultural, religion, ethnic, even from student ability. SMP Tumbuh tries to give learning methods and special learning programs as an alternative learning from their own learning methods and learning programs. The result of this research is that in implementing their learning methods and learning programs, SMP Tumbuh gives innovations and creations toward curriculum and collaborates it in their activities at the time of lesson or during outdoor activities. Therefore, students feel happy when they gain lessons from their teacher. Teacher also can modify the leaning methods to students as long as the learning get along with the school’s value. SMP Tumbuh has supporting factors and also obstacles when implementing their learning methods and learning programs. Although SMP Tumbuh has students with special needs, the regular students and teachers highly are not allowed to intimidate or bully the students with special need because they have an assessment before registered as a student of SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta.
