ABSTRACT This study examines the revitalization process Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta. Revitalization process in management aspects, physical aspects, and image aspects. This study also reviewed the level of success of the revitalization process. The purpose of this study was to determine the process and the level of success in implementing museum revitalization program. This study used a qualitative approach. This study count heaveley on field research focuses on thorough and systematic and supported by the research literature and secondary data. Methods of data collection were interviews, field observations and literature studies. The result of this study indicate that Sonobudoyo Museum has done revitalization museum gradually through phsically revitalization and management revitalization. But revitalization process also encountered some barriers among others phisically revitalization especially repair of park, finance management aspect, and revitalization of image. The result of this study also indicate the level of success revitalization Sonobudoyo Museum to supported goverment program “Gerakan Nasional cinta museum”.
