Kepuasan Kerja Perempuan Berkeluarga Setelah Pergeseran Okupasi ke Sektor Pariwisata

ABSTRACT The development of tourism industry had an economic impact for almost people at Desa Bejiharjo. People can work at this sector without qualification in academics and skill. The amount of visitors can contribute to workers income from time to time, so they had strong belief that can get better well-being. Well working condition and low pressure job description could make job opportunity for marriage women. This research used qualitative method with descriptive approach. To get authentic data, the informants found by snowball sampling technique. Eight informants that work as employees at a small business shop, employees at service tourism office, the owner of clothing, food, and souvenir business could make this research be comprehensive. This research used thematic analytic. The result of this research shows that all of informants had a work change, they believe that tourism sector could make a better well-being than their previous work. This research use the main idea of subjective welfare by Guttman and Levy which behavior modality consist of cognitive, affection, and instrumental. A form of subjective welfare shown by workers behavior and attitude when they give a service to tourist by doing hospitality, friendly, and open minded. The income get increase, who work at tourism sector can contribute to family income which give them job satisfaction. The unique result are that the job satisfaction can increase when women had a high intensity to meet their families everyday and take care of their families member, not depend on an amount of income. The expectation of leisure satisfaction could not happen because of flexibility job description. After work at public sector, marriage women could take care of domestic sector by theirs self. Leisure time for women had decline for nowadays than theirs leisure time at work in the past. Social activity like: ‘arisan dasawisma’, activites in PKK group, and religious activities had declined participation because the member too tired because of their job description. Welfare assessment cannot generally for everyone according to viewpoints objectivity solely. Philosophical potential is ignored so that not available data of welfare index to apply at this area. Welfare is not only measured by economy, income, wealth being, and distribution of house. Keyword: subjective welfare, satisfaction of a job, satisfaction of income, and satisfaction of leisure.
