Abstract The efforts of the society development have been done with some approaches and methods that each of that gives a real result to the prosperous society. Not only just physics development which becomes the indicator, the quality of the human resources needed too for reaching the autonomy of the society. The empowerment needed to carry on giving a chance for the society to have a role as an object and subject of the development. The empowerment concerned to a process than result where in the process of the empowerment there are many steps that must be passed by the society in achieving autonomous and prosperity. Mina Sejahtera Fish Group is one of the society groups which exist on fish farming business in the Plaosan village. This group is a place for the members to studying and to have collective activity to achieving common goals. In the efforts to increase the prosperity, the members invited to shown potency they’re have and to know what’s they needed. The researcher wants to know how the process of the empowerment that happens in that group on developing their potentials they’re have. The purpose of the this research is to see the process of the empowerment on the Mina Sejahtera Fish Group, also how far the empowerment gives impact for groups developments. The researcher uses qualitative method, are perceive able to answer the problems on this research. Data collection techniques are using observation, interview, literature and documentation technique. The researcher involved some informant which needed for getting the primer data. The numbers of the informants are seven. Added with some observations by the researcher to find the truth of the information obtained. To know achievement in empowerment society efforts by Mina Sejahtera Fish Group, the researcher uses others indicator such as participation, transpiration, society autonomous and economy enhancement. The result of this research, empowerment process that occurs is not good yet. Member participation shown an enhancement, individual and groups capacity enhancement are happened too, but the autonomous is not reached yet. Some of the weaknesses are the activity that tended in monotone way and lack of innovation from the members in determine the activity, so that the members feels bored and their motivation have fade. The groups purpose to be gathered media, to interacted and study are good, but it still need a lot of participation from the outside members to give motivation and mentoring to develop the group for achieving prosperous for each members.
