Kebijakan Korea Utara Mengenai Kawasan Industri Kaesong dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Upaya Reunifikasi Korea

ABSTRACT This work contains a discussion about the reason why in the middle of conflicting situations with South Korea, the North Korea government willing to coordinate with the South Korea government in providing joint industrial park in Kaesong and what was the impact of such a policy on the negotiation process of Korean Reunification. The main argument of this work is that the North Korea government was cornered when this policy approved. There are some factors that affect the decision to open this industrial park, both internally and externally. Using game-theory in the form of Nash Bargaining Problem, this work also explains the rationalizations put by North Korea government regarding the approval of this project. Later this work was also trying to examine the impact of the decision by looking at the condition of Korean Reunification before and after this industrial area opened.
