Abstract Indonesia currently has Low-Cost Green Car (LCGC) production policy as a direction of eco-friendly car program and national automotive industry development. This policy is a result of various interests between Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Finance, Gaikindo, Association of National Car Producer and PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor Indonesia. In this struggle of interests, both Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Finance support PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor and the other automotive assemblers to execute the LCGC program. In the otherhand, Indonesian Association of National Car Producer support a regulation of rural eco-friendly car development. Indonesian current policy prefers to support LCGC production program instead of trying to developproductivity and technological capabilities of national car industry. This tendency affect Indonesia’s dependency on Multi National Corporation in national automotive industry. Keywords: technology transfer, struggle of interest,Low Cost Green Car production policy,PT.
