– Abstract – As we know that religions has two dimension of view, a priestly and prophethic role, and both of them are confirmed as something interpretive of human. The prophetic side is most concern about religion as a mechanism for liberation of oppressed and disenfranchised people. As, such religion is appropiateed in the world to improve political, economic, and social conditions, a more prophetic stance are often keenly aware of social problems such as poverty and unemployment, and make a concerted effort to address these types of problems in practical, tangible way. Prophetic counterparts challenge the status quo and often use more temporal standards to measure religious conviction. In a prophetic role we can look religion to understand better the workings of institutions and the motives that drive people to act morally. A moral act of the prophetic bring the people into a spirit of collectivity that was similar to the vernacular altruism, what we can define it as behavior costly to the actor involving other-regarding sentiments; if in act is or appears to be motivated mainly out of a considerations of another‟s needs rather than one‟s own. Philanthropy was a model of reconstitution of wealth, which the actions of philanthropists were determined by a latent desire to integrate themselves into social structures, and it over time represents the “social history of the moral imagination”. The fact that organized philanthropy is so ancient and widespread means that cultures have many difference philanthropic traditions, and philanthropy has taken many forms. The traditions is important as the record and awareness of the values that transmitted across time from one generation to another. Traditions that are neglected or even actively abused can lose energy and meaning. When we showed modus vivendi as the moral versions of practicing the philanthropy, a modus vivendi brings out agreement and disagreement. It encourages discernment of the consequences of our own action and determines whether or not we undertake it. Only under a modus vivendi do we see the cost of action because it is only of the modus vivendi that we feel the actual clash of adverse will. When the religious practices are addressed as philanthropy, it intensifies the prospect of widely different reasons for action by introducing override beliefs to „political‟ experience. Strong religions support, within the parameters of a human community, narratives shaped by beliefs that some propositions originate in an external reality. This species of text (whose effects on secular political practices cannot be stressed enough) rests on a web of concepts stretching to points that are believed to exceed the parameters of human communities, with inevitably profound implications for the individual's collective identification. The city was a network of active people who defined, financed, and represented not only the economic but also the cultural and social development of their community.
