ABSTRACT Celebration of Eid al-Fitr is a form of worship for Muslims, as well as for students in village communities Mlangi. Eid al-Fitr celebrations are conducted annually celebrated with firing firecrackers. For some communities of students, firecrackers not only as an celebration instrument. They run Eid al-Fitr celebrations with a series of events, one of which was firing firecrackers. Firecrackers when Eid celebrations is a custom that has been going on for decades. Set off firecrackers to mark Eid al-Fitr also gave rise to the phenomenon of production and buying and selling of firecrackers. Research question is how the Celebration Eid al-Fitr using firecrackers into a social habitus. Celebration Eid al-Fitr chosen because it is a great day Islam is capable of creating great enthusiasm from the public. The next problem formulation, how to form embeddedness between Celebration Eid al-Fitr with production, buying and selling firecrackers. This study using qualitative research methods with descriptive approach which took the data and information from 7 informants. The informants were chosen a village community Mlangi, such as community leaders, religious leaders, players or firecracker makers, and the general public. The results showed the formation of capitals of Celebration Eid al-Fitr using firecrackers. The contesting process of capitals owned by each of the actors inside Mlangi society produce a Celebration Eid al-Fitr habitus with playing firecrackers, which is through with the Pierre Bourdieu's theory. This study shows also a social relationship between the manufacturer and the players firecrackers with other elements of society. The emergence of economic measures such as the production of firecrackers to be traded against the background of the social relations between elements of society. Social action and economic measures which are attached to each other in accordance with the theory embeddedness by Mark Granovetter.
