ABSTRACT Effect of a calamity / disaster in 2007 in the form of earthquakes on the development of SMEs is very large. As experienced craftsmen in Kasongan, Bantul. The effect that any revenue downturn caused much damage craftsman tools used by craftsmen damaged. Not only that, the goods ready for sale production collapsed due to the earthquake. Therefore, it is of interest to researchers that any development effort made by the craftsmen and community of Kasongan to restore what has been lost because of the disaster swallowed and then made a greater potential as a "search engine money" for craftsmen. Kasongan craftsmen did not work individually, but they work with mutual cooperation in developing SMEs. Craftsmen are aware that to strengthen SMEs of Kasongan need for cooperation among stakeholders in developing SMEs. The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of SMEs Pottery Kasongan by looking at the role of networking between agencies, both government and non-government agencies. Development is done to get a better economic growth, rather than the previous condition so as to give satisfaction to the customers who come to Kasongan which has a tourist icon "pottery". In addition, to see the encountered problems in the field and analyze these issues to get a better settlement option. In the study of pottery Featured Product Development that focuses on the relationship (cooperation) between the local government (Department of Industry and Trade and the Department of Tourism), Cooperative Setya Bawana, Cooperative Senin Kliwon Kasongan and Business Association (National Craft Council) and the Regional Banks in the business development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kasongan. Local governments provide a major concern in the development of SMEs Kasongan because many competition between SMEs to become better. Function which gives unity and cooperation among businesses for the future progress. Without cooperation between the government and businesses such as cooperatives and banks, the SMEs in Kasongan will not run properly.
