ABSTRACTS This study examined the capacity of the region in the implementation of the National Health Insurance in Bantul. Local capacity is measured from the supply side of health which includes infrastructure, superstructure, service system is connected with the demand side of the population to health services. The purpose of this study to describe the capacity of Bantul in implementing JKN. The program is implemented nationally in all regencies / cities in Indonesia from 1 January 2014. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive. Descriptive research to describe and interpret the meaning of the data that has been collected by giving attention and record as many aspects of the situation under study. The method of collecting the data were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Bantul district already has a capacity which is ready to implement the program JKN terms of infrastructure, superstructure, and implementation JKN who have followed the blueprint JKN. The implementation of JKN also so far has been following the standard procedures of health care. Keywords: local capacity, implementation JKN, infrastructure, blueprint.
