The Changing Perception of the Australian Government toward Indonesia:(Comparative Analysis Between Australian Labor Party under Kevin Rudd and the Coalition Liberal Party under Tony Abbott Government

2015 | Skripsi | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalABSTRACT The changing perception of Australian government toward Indonesia was existed inside Kevin Rudd and Tony Abbott’s leadership. The shift of perception was occurred by how the external factors or internal factors influenced the perception of Australian government. The factor such as, geographic proximity, economy, and socio-cultural can be the main influence by how each Australian government possessed the different perception toward Indonesia, along the period of leadership. Another external factor, such as the changing behavior of Indonesian government can also influential in changing the perception of Australian government on Indonesia. This changing perception or possessing the perception differently, by each Australian government, either Kevin Rudd or Tony Abbott, can causing the dynamics relationship between Australia and Indonesia. However, the impact of the perception from each government toward the policy outcome in the aspect of economy, political-security, and socio-cultural, still reflect from the level of Australia national interest.
