ABSTRACT After the tragedy of 11 September 2001, the United Kingdom and the United States agreed on a new extradition treaty. This new agreement be a response to some of the problems related to the procedures and requirements for extradition made some unexpected and failed terrorist suspects extradited within the framework of war on terror. Various kinds of criticism related to developing a new extradition treaty between Britain and the United States, ranging from the use of this law to ensnare business crime, to human rights issues. Of all the issues that developed, the most important issue of this legislation is the issue of the loss of their duty to provide prima prima facie, this leads some to argue that the new extradition treaty between Britain and the United States are summarized in this law, an agreement unbalanced and considered harmful to the UK. The media called the agreement as "unbalance treaty". All terms that refer to the loss of one of the main principles of extradition since the formation of which is the principle of reciprocity. Special relationship present as a concept that try to explain the patterns of behavior between Britain and the United States when they agreed on new extradition agreement. The long history of the two countries, the english speaking nation idea and personal ties between the leaders of shaping attitudes and willingness of both countries to work together and support each other.
