The program aims to build a school culture that is safe from disaster. However, one of which is a problem that is not known is how the implementation of Disaster Preparedness School program in the SMP N 2 Imogiri. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Disaster Preparedness School program in SMP N 2 Imogiri, Desa Sriharjo, Kecamatan Imogiri, Kabupaten Bantul. This study method used a qualitative approach. Location of research undertaken is SMP N 2 Imogiri, Desa Sriharjo, Kecamatan Imogiri, Kabupaten Bantul by involving teachers and students as key informants in the study. This study used primary and secondary data obtained from interviews, observations, and document analysis. For triangulation of data, carried out by comparing the results of observations in SMP N 2 Imogiri with data from interviews given by the informant, to compare the extent of the level of knowledge of students of SMP N 2 Imogiri on Disaster Preparedness School program (SSB), comparing the results of interviews with documents Action Plan for School SSB SMP N 2 Imogiri and compare the parameters, indicators, and verification of Disaster Preparedness School set by the Consortium for Disaster Education (CDE) Indonesia with parameters, indicators, and verification of Disaster Preparedness School in SMP N 2 Imogiri. With the data that has been categorized Disaster Preparedness Schools program implementation described then examined whether adherence to the program has a maximum or not. From these results it can be concluded that (1) the attitude and actions of teachers and students in the implementation of Disaster Preparedness School in SMP N 2 Imogiri have been implemented to improve the knowledge of disaster preparedness include: socialization, integration Disaster Preparedness Schools programs in subjects and extracurricular activities , as well as simulation. (2) school policy that has been implemented is the Decree of the Head of School, Standart Operational Prosedure (SOP) earthquake, preparation of visual media as an evacuation route maps and information can always be accessed by elements of the school. (3) preparedness planning that have been implemented include the preparation of disaster risk assessment document, the existence of the School Action Plan are arranged on a xiv regular basis, the availability of early warning systems, evacuation of schools and school readiness standard procedure. (4) Mobilization of resources held by the physical renovation of school buildings, improvement of school facilities and good cooperation with external stakeholders of the school.
