PLN is one of many BUMN (state-owned enterprises) that moving in electricity sector and exist to fulfill the public needs. Therefore, PT PLN should provide a qualities electrical power which with quality is good the than facet sum up and also the quality. Furthermore, PT PLN also charged to provide a good services to public and customer. Therefore, writer intend to conduct a research with title “Performance of PT PLN APJ Yogyakarta” in giving a good public services. The main objective of this research is to know how public organizations performance especially PT PLN APJ Yogyakarta in giving public services. This research conducted in Yogyakarta, with the unit analyze is PT PLN APJ Yogyakarta’s office. Performance of PT PLN APJ Yogyakarta in giving public services measured from 2 (two) indicators that is: Quality of Services and Organizational Responsiveness. This research represent descriptive research analysis. As for method of data collecting used by writer is literature study, interview, observation, documentation and using secondary data. Validating data method used by writer is triangulation. Based on research that has been done, how performance in PT PLN APJ Yogyakarta in giving a good public services, related to the main objective of public organization in the effort to satisfy customer especially in electrical services can be concluded that PT PLN APJ Yogyakarta performance is not good enough. It based on field condition that not fully accordance with the indicators used by the writer to see the performance of PT PLN APJ Yogyakarta. Although quality of service especially in ease of access has been perceived by the customer, and the responsiveness of organization embodied with a good response for electrical disruption, vital sector such as light failure still occur that have not met the objective of the organization and the disturbance handling that does not fit with the predetermined time.
