Upaya Indonesia dalam Meningkatkan Transparansi Sektor Industri Ekstratif

Therefore, it is important for Indonesia, a rich natural resources extractive country, make this into something that is sustainable and can be used for the people welfare. Indonesian government chooses Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) as a tool to improve governance of extractive industries sector. According to Thomas Oatley, in the international political economy, conflict of interest would occur in a policy-making. Domestic factors such as interests and political institutions play an important role in policy-making decisions. This thesis will discuss the interactions of interest in the effort to improve transparency in extractive industries sector. In carrying out its efforts, the Indonesian government is supported by civil society, which is represented by the Publish What You Pay Indonesia and the company as a stakeholder in the implementation of the EITI.
