ABSTRACT Cooperation is institution that possesses purpose in prosper its members. However, cooperation having various obstacles in achieving its goal. One of a hitch by which perceived cooperation milk the meantime people are having distribution members in various village, some of them are members of inhabiting in the area of gristle disaster Merapi eruption. Members suffered a loss that affected cow died from the eruption in 2010 ago. Pertaining to the matter, this research was meant to find out strategy implemented by Warga Mulya Milk Cooperation in the face of disaster eruption of Mount Merapi. The study is done by using the method qualitative approach purposive and sampling the source, in an election supported with snowball of sampling. The technique of collecting data is to do an interview deep more complete, in order to gain information observation and non-partisipan, conducted in a participant the study of pustaka used to furnish of lab data and documentation by utilizing belonging to cooperations and by conducting private documentation. Results found in the field have triangulation to get the data be valid." the process analysis of data, beginning with the reduction of data presentation of data, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. The result analysis of this research indicating the existence of the relation between a member and cooperation that is mutually influential only in run businesses, dairy cattle. The rest eruptive, as in the face of disaster actually a member of independently can seek assistance without the role of cooperation. The existence of a group within cooperation make a widening gap between the member with cooperation itself. Members of more actively involve in the group without knowing the development and obstacles faced by cooperation. So is ignorance members regarding the condition of being experienced cooperation after the disaster eruption. Various assistance as compensation death cow belonging to members, could help members in were continuing effort cattle hers. However, behold cooperation has strategy in the face of disaster eruption. Cooperation take advantage of something as preexisting and can be utilized in the face of disaster eruption. Strategy which is, cow insurance, loan and save as strengthening, capital and had to provide reserve funds cooperation. However, in an outline strategy that cannot optimally, applied because only may be used by some members of course. Cooperation to make specific strategy eruptive, in the face of disaster will be difficult when there is no communication of a good and members.
