ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the idea that it is a boarding school education and the traditional boarding school students were impressed into the conservative and stupid. Thus it is necessary the holding of educational innovation in a boarding school so that people know that boarding schools are not as low as they see. Educational innovation is one way in which the school with the approval of the government to do the changes in the field of education at the school. Innovation made in high school education Darul Ulum 2 Jombang is to apply an international curriculum in the high school curriculum of SMA Darul Ulum 2 Jombang. The success of this program may be seen from the process and the success that has been seen from the impact generated. This study used qualitative descriptive qualitative research method. By observation and collecting data from interviews, notes the report, and other document to describe something that is examined in the analysis of the environmental, SMA Darul Ulum Jombang 2. It aims to describe the reality of phenomena that occur in the corresponding SMA Darul Ulum 2 Jombang. The results of this study are substantially the educational innovation by applying international curriculum in the high school curriculum of Darul Ulum 2 Jombang able to have a positive impact in accordance with the purpose of educational innovations that made SMA Darul Ulum 2 Jombang. The resulting impact is the increased motivation and the quality of students and education personnel of SMA Darul Ulum Jombang 2, increasing the quality of facilities and infrastructure, and the changing status of SMA Darul Ulum Jombang 2 as an international boarding school the only one in East Java. In practice, SMA Darul 2 Ulum Jombang invites the foundation of Darul Ulum Islamic boarding schools to be directly involved in implementing educational innovations international curriculum with a vision to change the mission of SMA Darul Ulum 2 Jombang, improve and add to the infrastructure, to provide training to educators and educational SMA Darul Ulum 2 Jombang. The success of educational innovations applied SMA Darul Ulum 2 Jombang related to the perception of the target group. The level of community expectations, including the foundation boarding school and parents of high school students of Darul Ulum 2 Jombang to influence the process of implementing a program of educational innovation. As the foundation of Darul Ulum Islamic boarding schools have a positive perception of the international curriculum programs, so that the desired results can be achieved when compared with the negative perception of the other party. By looking at the success rate of innovation high school education at Darul Ulum 2 Jombang, then it would be better if the program is sustainable and workable implementation in another boarding school. Community involvement not only in implementation but also when the planning process as well. And coordination between the foundation of Darul Ulum boarding school, SMA Darul Ulum 2 Jombang also improved to reduce misunderstandings. Keywords: Innovation Education, Schools Boarding School
