Abstract Change is a way to resolve the issue, even as the problems happened in society. Many ways can be taken to mobilize people, protest the government or by changing the mindset. Music is a liquid medium which can be use to be the beginning from a change. One of them is Navicula, a grunge band that brought environmental issues in musical activities through music. The purpose of this study was to find out How Navicula see music as a instrument from the social movements of environmental conservation. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis method as the theoretical basis of the study. Location of the study took place in the city of Denpasar, Bali as the residence from the Navicula personnel, main Informants in this study study consisted from four personnel Navicula, three people as a music listener of Navicula and secondary data sources from the internet. Navicula are triggering social movements through a lot of medium environment. Among social media, campaigns, fundraising and from music produced. In this study, researchers focused on the use of music as a pioneer of social movements. as a musician was the music of the main product, but Navicula push the issue from their song by activity in social media, and fundraising campaign that generated more impact movement. The results from this study are, for Navicula music is a passion. When make music, Navicula prioritize having fun. For Navicula, music need a musical concept as reference, there are social issues and environmental issues. Environmental issues was delivered Navicula because the issue is urgent. Through the song, Navicula trying to influence listeners by giving the information related to environmental damage. listener response is quite good when it got the information. Navicula effort to reach a major change such as a fire is still far from roast, but when referring to the concept of a new social movement then it is not uncommon for the new social movements need a long time to be able to determine its success. Real actions that appeared still to be initiated by Navicula. Navicula still need a lot of support from all stakeholders in order to reach the main goal succes, saving the environment. The use of social media, fundraising campaigns and actions capable of supporting music to create a social movement. Keywords: Social Movement, Music, Environmental, Navicula
