Evaluasi Promosi Wisata Pulau Maratua: Perspektif Wisatawan

2014 | Skripsi | Ilmu KomunikasiABSTRACT This thesis entitled Evaluation of Tourism Promotion of Maratua Island: Tourists Perspectives. The purpose of this research is to determine the perception of tourists to the tourism promotion of Maratua Island. This study uses survey research. The techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis techniques using crosstabulation described descriptively. The number of respondents 60 people including 40 domestic tourists and 20 foreign tourists. The samples in this research conducted by quota sampling. The results showed that both domestic and foreign tourists who travel to Maratua Island not get an informative message through the promotion about many kinds of tourist attractions there. In addition, for foreign tourists, information on accessibility is also not quite informative presented through tourism promotion of Maratua Island. However, in contrast to domestic travelers tourists who tend to say that the information about the accessibility fairly informative. Most tourists, both domestic and foreign, agreed that the messages are often delivered through tourism promotion is amenity which in this case is just resort accommodation as the main attraction in Maratua Island.
