Abstract This paper is explaining about Maori Party response of Health Services Disparities Issues experienced by Maori in New Zealand. The issue of health care disparities experienced by Maori community in New Zealand has been going on since a long time but the issue resurfaced in the 90s. In the 90s not much effort was made by the government to address this issue. In 2000 the New Zealand government issued a policy of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act. This policy is the basis of other policies to reduce health care disparities. In 2004 the Maori Party is arise. Party named in accordance with the Indigenous People of New Zealand specifically created to assist Maori political role and into New Zealand. Maori Party as a representative of Maori society has a big role for Maori in the New Zealand parliament. One of the issues raised by the Maori Party is the issue of health care disparities. The issue of health care disparities is caused by a variety of causes. Because of the many things that affect the level of health care disparities, the Maori Party has another step to resolve the issue. Steps taken by the Maori Party is the improvement of living standards and health of Maori. Maori Party has a role both in parliament and outside parliament. Her role in the parliament in the form of the submission of legislation and legislative amendments. The role of outside parliament to do various things such as, public health campaigns about the level of Maori, cooperation with various institutions in the health sector, and create a forum for Maori health and health programs initiation. Efforts undertaken Maori Party is born with a sweet result of his various policies that support the improvement of living standard of the Maori.
