Implementation of Media relations Ministry of Public Works is done to run the program and policy of the Ministry to obtain forms of media publicity carried out in to support for public transparancy. The results showed that the implementation of media relations of the Ministry of Public Works’ PR through understanding serve the media principles is done through media briefing, gave press room facilities and ease of access to communication with the Ministry of Public Works’ PR. The principle of build a reputation by showing how PR handle the negative publicity with clarification. Ministry of Public Works gave an appreciation to media through the paper cutouts that are also used as media monitoring. Also built a reputation through PR seminars and workshops that discuss various issues in government PR. Principles provide a copy of the publication is done through press releases that are routinely performed every day. The principle of the provision of material carried by bridging the need for a resource. Resource needs done with television and radio dialogue as a speaker. Press conference becomes the form of the provision of material information to the media is done as a form of special events open to provide clarification to the media. The principle of verification carried out through the facilities of press tour and reporting activities as the leader of the Ministry of Public Works inauguration activities. The principle of personal relationships conducted through the media gathering, media visit, and meet the chief. Keywords: Public relations, media relations, Ministry’s program and policy.
